Everytime Peek-A-Phone sends it location, your network provider charges you for sending the data. While Peek-A-Phone sends little data, most providers have a minimum charge - example: minimum charge of 1k per session. Peek-A-Phone's configuration setting allows you to control your data bill.
If your Provider charges a minimum of 1k per session, your maximum monthly data usage for Peek-A-Phone per device could be:
|
Server Update Interval |
Maximum Monthly Data Charge |

530 Megs |
| 15 seconds | 175 Megs |

How does Peek-A-Phone help you track with the accuracy that you need? Simple. Set your GPS Update Interval to a frequency of 5, 15, 30 or 60 seconds and your Server Update Interval to every 2, 5 minutes or higher.
When your devices updates its GPS location, Peek-A-Phone will attach a time to that location and then store this in a file on your device. Then Peek-A-Phone will send this file, with all your locations and times, according to your Server Update Interval. This gives you the refinement of an accurate tracking system, without you incurring a large bill.
